Kitsch :: The Faversham :: Leeds

I played the Faversham at 'Kitsch' tonight.

Band featured Middleman, whose frontman looks a little bit like he should be writing reggae than this hyper-happy-pop, were very nice. We had a chat about synchronization deals ... and all agreed that was the only place money was to be made in the record industry.

Kitsch, a monthly event, features some awesome electro & fidget, yet also bangs out the massive guilty pleasures you love to love. There were some huge 80s hits, some lovely pop classics.

I mustered the nerve to play The Bad Touch.  It was the Kitschest thing that came to mind.

All together now:
"You and me baby aint nothing by mammals /
so let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel"

That song should be behind bars, it's definitely molested more than a few ears in its time.
